Warm greetings everyone! When we plan weddings, we make sure that we give every element considerable time and attention. We want all the details to contribute to the overall theme that we want to achieve. And because we only want the best, we do research and share with our clients interesting ideas that they can draw inspiration from. 

Today, we talk about wedding programs. Do you need it? Here are some of our thoughts on the issue:

1. When you are expecting many guests, do not presume that everybody knows everybody. A wedding program would do the job of introducing your entourage to your wedding guests.
2. While everybody is pretty much familiar with the sequence of a wedding ceremony, it helps to have a program they can refer to so they are guided accordingly. 
3. For practical reasons, your wedding program may well serve other purposes such as a fan for the hot weather, among many others. 

Here are some options to consider when you are planning on having wedding ceremony programs:

Or sewn together

A scroll perfect for a small wedding

A fan-style wedding program that should come in handy during a warm day.

While waiting for the ceremony to start, keep guests busy answering the crossword puzzle at the back of your paddle-style fan program

Print your program on brown bags and stuff them with confetti. Ask guests to shower you with confetti as you walk down the aisle as man and wife.

Keep everyone busy reading about your love story and every bit of information about you and your wedding by giving out a personalized newspaper wedding program

Wedding Seating Chart Ideas

Hello to all our lovely Lots of Love Readers! We're giving you a Wednesday wedding tip. Today, we will talk about wedding seating arrangements.

Before everything gets busy, find time to sit with your wedding planner and discuss the seating arrangements at your wedding reception. Seating arrangements are necessary when you are expecting many guests at your wedding. As host, you want your guests to feel that their presence at your wedding is something important to you and that you want them to feel comfortable and enjoy your wedding party.

Here are some clever ideas on how you can integrate style and functionality when planning the seating arrangement at your wedding reception:

Escort Cards. Place them on a table or have them on display outside the reception room.

Stay true to your beach wedding theme and have a mini beach set-up for your escort cards with colorful paper umbrellas and some sand.

You can't just say no to chocolates! Some sweet treats for guests to munch on while waiting for the party to start

 Group cards according to table and display them in vases with colored stones or perhaps some hard candy.

Go traditional and print escort cards in beautiful stationery and have them on display right outside the reception hall. 

Go natural. Arrange fruits in season on a table with your escort card tucks in them.

 Try this refreshing idea: welcome drinks with your guest's names and table assignments.

Help guests find their seats through wedding giveaways tagged with their names and assigned seats

You can use the newlywed's photos instead of table numbers.   Have this chart on display outside the reception hall. Then, integrate table markers (be it numbers, colors or in this case, photos) into your table centerpiece to guide guests on where they should be seated.

Beauty and the Beach

Meet Alice:

I know, I know, she's too beautiful. I have a hard time dealing with it since I saw that she is as beautiful without any makeup on.

Meet Arthur:

Yah, he's a stud.

This couple is not just physically gorgeous. They are also a wonderful couple. The dynamic of their relationship is one to admire.

So, moving along to their wedding. Their wedding was at a beautiful private estate overlooking the ocean.

We started with a beautiful outdoor ceremony, with two large garden floral arrangements at the altar and little paper cones full of petals along the aisle for guests to toss as they walked down the aisle as newlyweds.



Then, we had a wonderful cocktail hour full of made-to-order sushi, hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, and amazing entertainment by a trio of guitarists.  The bride and groom took this time to take breath-taking photos together.

After guests enjoyed the cocktail hour and the beautiful weather, they were welcome to enter the tented reception.

The reception fit the beautiful beach view setting. It had just enough formality with the swag-top tent and lantern chandeliers. It had the easy California style with hand-made wood tables, organic florals and chalkboard table numbers. It had the classic feel with beaded chargers and chiavari chairs. Not to mention, it had the personalization with fresh lavender we hand-tied with twine to beautiful ivory napkins, and fresh lavender stems pinned to the cake table linen.

The flawless cake was a show-stopper itself:

The guests ate and danced under the stars, in a tented room full of love and celebration.

Oh, and because the nights get chilly by the beach, our bride had us set out beautiful white shawls for guests. We also had white flip-flops so those with painful shoes could dance all night. 

It was a beautiful day. One that Alice, Arthur, and all their guests will remember forever.
