Lots of love, Susan: Gorgeous Lexy + Handsome Matt

Let us tell you a little story.

Matt likes (Alexia) Lexy. Lexy likes Matt. They date. There is a surprise getaway proposal.

Fast forward to a beautiful wedding. Happily. Ever. After.

We had the pleasure of working with Lexy and Matt for their outdoor ceremony and reception at the amazing Greystone Mansion.

We had some bumps in the road of course. The beverage vendor forgot to bring the bottled water for our guests (on a very hot day). The kitchen used by the caterer was a hundred stair-steps away from the reception site. The cake topper was broken into several tiny pieces. And of course, the cutie-pie ring boy, Mason, refused to walk down the aisle.

Problems solved! My team member went and purchased an endless supply of water for the guests to enjoy during the outdoor ceremony. Some minor changes to plating made the extra distance for the wait-staff easier (Trust me, the site on the property chosen by our couple was perfect and we did not want to use the site closer to the kitchen). Oh yeah, and we did some magic with the cake topper. As for Mason, the surprise toy we purchased for him had him walk down the aisle like a pro!

The stationary of classic escort cards and menus were perfectly assembled, with just the right amount of shimmer.

The favors were morning muffins from the great eatery Craft for all the guests (most of which were from out of state).

The florals were soft and beautiful low centerpieces that made a statement against the slate gray linens.

The night ended with an after-party at a hip, modern hotel.

PS- My friend, and amazing photographer, Laura of Beautiful Day Photography, had one laugh too many at the end of the night, when I locked the bride's getaway car keys in the trunk of the car. That was quickly resolved as well, of course ;)
