Today we are going to share a very special wedding with you.
What makes this wedding so special? This wedding was special because we loved this couple as a pair, and as individuals. As a bonus, the wedding was absolutely beautiful, with many special moments witnessed by all their loved ones.
History lesson: girl goes to USC. guy goes to USC. introduction by roomates. 8 years later. BAM! Die-hard USC alumni couple. Wedding time!!!
Let us start by introducing our gorgeous bride, Christina:
Here is our GQ-esque groom, Rawiri:
Great looking couple, right?
Well, we are happy to say that they are as wonderful as they are good looking!
So let's get to their Big Day, shall we?
The day started with the gals getting ready, and the guys...well, the guys were hanging out...
A special moment shared by father + daughter before heading to Church:
At Church: the groom and his best guys waited at the alter...the bridesmaids made their way down the aisle...
...the pretty flower girls paved a floral way for the bride-to-be...
and...here comes the bride!
With two beautiful doves to release after the ceremony, we have our newlyweds!
After the ceremony, our bride, groom and their bridal party went to take some amazing photos:
Believe us when we say, there were too many perfect photos to choose from...
After the photo session, the bridal party joined the guests for reception.
Before the grand entrance, there was a special musical welcoming of the bride and groom by close family:
Now, we are ready for the Grand Entrance!
The USC alumni couple, along with all the USC-loving guests, enjoyed a private performance by the USC Marching Band. It was awesome!!!
We also had the pleasure of watching a special dance honoring the groom:
The performance and the cloak was so important to Rawiri's father. It was really a special moment.
Another cultural dance took place, but this time, with all the guests participating. So much fun!
Some wonderful partying took place before the rest of the evenings special moments:
Cake Cutting involved a beautiful bride, handsome groom, and a grand, classic and timeless cake:
We heard the most heart-warming speeches...
We must say that Rawiri's speech won us over. His genuine heart-felt speech touched everyone that evening. More so because everything he said about himself, Christina, and their families, solidified everything we knew we loved about them both.
Everyone had such a wonderful time at this beautiful wedding. It is clear that everyone agrees that Rawiri and Christina are special as individuals and as a couple.
Here are some details of the beautiful day:
{Yes, personalized dress hangers}
{Absolutely love these pillows + bride n groom teddies}
{Delicate lace}
{Hey, the groom has some details to share too, you know!}
The ballroom was beautiful. Gold and Ivory is a match made in heaven...
{We loved the framed wedding-day photos of the parents surrounding the photo guest book}
{Who doesn't love a beautiful escort card table?}
Gold chargers, ivory napkins, gold mercury favors, and a beautiful menu made the table setting complete!
{Square + round tables? Yes, please!}
{(I do...me too) LOVE!}
We wish Christina + Rawiri a lifetime of visits to the USC campus, where they can re-live together those magical years...and perhaps one day, take their kids where they met...
FIGHT ON!
