Wedding Color Inspiration: Chocolate and Burnt Orange

Lovely Greetings to all our Lots of Love Readers!

It's the time of year when you see a lot of orange and brown around you. This gives us an inspiration for another perfect autumn wedding motif : Chocolate and Burnt Orange. A lot of people love chocolate as a sweet but as a color, it can be overpowering. Pairing it with orange makes a great color combination for a fall wedding both indoor and outdoor.

Here are some great Chocolate and Burnt Orange Wedding elements:

Rustic invitation for an outdoor wedding

Fresh floral bouquet of roses, mini calla lilies and hydrangeas accentuated by goose feathers

Silk flowers make an equally gorgeous substitute for a fresh floral bouquet

Mini calla lilies for the groom's boutonniere

Dress flower girls in chocolate brown dresses with orange waistbands

A wedding ceremony on a carpet of loose petals and a wedding canopy adorned with flowing flowers

DIY Wedding Decor - Hang paper tissue balls all over the wedding ceremony venue

A centerpiece with a twist : a bouquet of flowers bound by ribbons and accentuated with a locket with the groom and bride's pictures placed inside a tall clear vase

the lovely colors of autumn showcased in this centerpiece of burnt orange candle sitting on a bed of flowers

For a rustic look, wrap plant holders in burlap to blend with the chocolate brown and burnt orange theme.

Fill the wedding reception with generous display of flowers and fruits in season

Ask the caterer to dress the tables and chairs in chocolate brown and orange

Paper lanterns are a great alternative to floral arrangements at the wedding reception

For a harmonious look, dress everything up in the wedding color motif

If you're expecting a cooler weather on your wedding day, set up a chai, coffee or hot choco bar

Go funky with a chocolate wedding cake

And treat your guests with a slice of decadent orange chocolate cake.

Sweet popcorn favors for everyone to take home and enjoy.

Tip: Don't leave anything to chance. Keep a checklist of things that you need to accomplish months, weeks and days before your wedding.

Lots of Love,
